Wilma Darlene Jones

Wilma D. Jones, affectionately known as “Susie,” 89 of Buffalo, MO passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020.

Susie was born in Watson, MO on December 24, 1930. Susie was the daughter of Lester Dozier and Hazel Webster. Susie grew up in the Watson area.

Susie married Delmont W. Jones in Topeka, KS on December 16, 1946 and they were married for 58 years and had 5 children together.

Susie was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Military Order of the Purple Heart of the U.S.A., Inc.

She is survived by four children: Shonnette (Rick) Bischoff of Buffalo, MO, Marcia (Dean) Mason of Tunas, MO, Riley (Dale) Jones of Brentwood, CA, and Shannon Jones of Buffalo, MO. She also has 13 Grandchildren, 33 Great-grandchildren, and 21 Great-Great-grandchildren. Furthermore, she has one brother, Jack Dozier of California, and one sister, Pattie Fremont of Virginia.

Susie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Anthony Jones, 11 other siblings, and Great-Great-grandson, Austin.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am Thursday, November 12, 2020 in the Maple Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo, Missouri.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, November 11, 2020 in the Funeral Home.
