Members of the Buffalo Area Chamber of Commerce were in attendance at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Studio 23 at noon last Friday, Oct. 7. The studio is at 951 W. Dallas St. in the Langsford Building in Buffalo, and is owned and operated by Nikki O’Callaghan. Present at the ribbon-cutting were, from left, Tanya Watson, Jessica Nyberg, Patrick Smith, Neva Smith, Nikki O’Callaghan, Denelle Snodgrass, Declan O’Callaghan, Penny Morgans, Laura Coots Holland, Hollie Fielder and Dayna Montrose.

Ray and Virginia Bolin recently donated a beautiful quilt to Dallas County Library. Pieced by Virginia and quilted by Ray, it was created from a pattern found in the library book “Bachelor’s Puzzle” by Judith Pella. It measures 69-by-82 inches and can be seen at the library during regular business hours. Tickets for a chance to win the quilt are $3 each or two for $5. A winner will be drawn Nov. 21.
