Ozarks Community Health Center is hosting a colon cancer run/walk at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Pomme De Terre Lake below the dam. Awards will go to the top three male and female runners, plus raffles, food trucks, and education. Register at https://runsignup.com/Race/MO/Hermitage/ColonCancerAwareness5k3k and get a free t-shirt. Russ Wisdom’s Dallas County roots run pretty deep. He spent his early years growing up on the Wisdom family farm in Dallas County near Urbana and he lives in the Urbana area today. Wisdom has a new job in Buffalo, that of city’s official building inspector. His life has supplied him with many years of experience in the construction, plumbing and electrical fields. more
