Carroll James Lindsey was born in January of 1930 to Ralph and Ida Mae (Cofer) Lindsey in the family farm house on the Lindsey Century Farm north of Buffalo. Three generations of Lindsey’s have lived in the farmhouse since it was built by Dallas County Physician and Grandfather Carroll Joseph Lindsey in 1898.

But then it nosedived, and some unseen force shoved me and my mom into a small room and slammed the door behind us. We looked around and realized we were alone in the cockpit, expected to take control and make a thousand different decisions to safely land the plane.

GROBuffalo is asking the community to step up and start picking up trash that the winds have been tossing about. If everyone in the neighborhood would commit to picking up one piece of trash daily, the streets, ditches and parking lots would soon be clean and ready for springtime activities.
