It only takes a few seconds to pass, but means so much to so many. It now means a lot more to the graphic design print technology instructor at the Dallas County Technical Center and her students. Passing by the “Welcome to Buffalo” sign every day on her way to work, seeing the state of disrepair only fueled her passion to redo the sign. When the Buffalo Area Chamber of Commerce executive director, Tanya Watson, contacted the tech center and asked if the class would have an interest in helping to restore the sign, the answer of course was yes. What an awesome opportunity it would be for the students to see their work recognized by so many. But this was not going to be an easy endeavor and meant that planning, organizing and managing the task was going to take some effort.
