Joe’s Hardware LLC is throwing a ‘Back the Blue’ event to honor our local heroes at 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, at 406 W. Dallas  Street in Buffalo.

Joe Carver, the owner of the hardware store, tells the county, “The world and our country is in unprecedented times. Our county and town are blessed to be filled with dozens of great public servants, regular folk who have chosen to serve and protect us: our sheriff’s department, police department, firefighters, ambulance drivers, first responders and our 911 operators. Let us show them we love them, appreciate them and stand behind them!”

The organizers have secured the fish from the supplier who delivers to the annual Louisburg Old Settler’s Reunion. More details will follow next week, watch the newspaper for more information.
