Red Top Cemetery

Red Top Missionary Baptist Church and Cemetery will hold its annual decoration services Sunday, May 19. Sunday school will begin at 10 a.m. Preaching services will follow at 11 a.m. with Bro. Donald Lane, pastor. Following a basket lunch, the cemetery business meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m.

Red Top Church and Cemetery are nine miles south of Buffalo on U.S. 65, then two miles west on Route TT.

Pleasant Ridge Cemetery — Urbana

Pleasant Ridge Cemetery on Route HH in Urbana will have decoration services Sunday, May 19. Lunch will be at noon, and the business meeting follows at 1 p.m.

For the upkeep of the cemetery, donations can be sent to Rick Percival, 18296 Dallas County Line Road, Phillipsburg, MO 65722.

 

New Hope Cemetery

As is customary, the annual business meeting for New Hope Cemetery will be the third Sunday of May. This year’s date is May 19. The meeting will be preceded by a carry-in dinner on the grounds at 12:30 p.m.

Everyone interested in the cemetery is encouraged to attend. The cemetery is east of Louisburg on New Hope Road.

Donations for cemetery upkeep are much appreciated and may be left with the trustees, Lendol Condren, Howard Maddux and Scott Baker. Donations also may be mailed to Scott Baker, P.O. Box 253, Buffalo, MO 65622.

 

Pleasant Ridge Cemetery — Fair Grove

Pleasant Ridge Cemetery on Farm Road 221 at Potter’s Ford in Fair Grove will have its decoration time May 25 and 26.

The cemetery will have volunteers there to receive donations, or donations may be mailed to Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, c/o Mary Terry, 5644 South 244 Road, Fair Grove, MO 65648.

 

Four Mile Cemetery

The annual Four Mile Cemetery business meeting will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at the cemetery.

Any donations would be appreciated, as the cemetery is always in need of funds for mowing.

For those unable to attend the meeting, checks may be sent to 61 Meadow Lane, Long Lane, MO 65590.

 

Hill Cemetery

The annual basket dinner and business meeting for Hill Cemetery is set for Sunday, May 26, at the O'Bannon Community Center in Buffalo. Doors open at 10 a.m.

A silent auction will be held following lunch. The auction is to help with the upkeep of the cemetery. Donations are needed for the cemetery. A business meeting will follow the auction.

Everyone who has an interest in the cemetery is encouraged to attend.

Donations may be made to Hill Cemetery and mailed to Charlene Bradley, 218 State Rd. JJ, Long Lane, MO 65590, or Dennis Bradley, 24515 Donald Ave., Lebanon, MO 65336.

 

Little Niangua Cemetery

The Little Niangua Cemetery Memorial Day service will be Sunday, May 26, with a business meeting at 10:30 a.m. and a carry-in dinner on the grounds at noon.

Contributions to the cemetery fund may be sent to Linda Howard, 599 State Rd. U, Louisburg, MO 65685.

 

Lone Rock Cemetery

Decoration day at Lone Rock Cemetery will be May 26, with a basket lunch beginning at 12:30 p.m.

Donations to maintain the cemetery are needed. Checks should be made payable to Lone Rock Cemetery and can be mailed to O'Bannon Bank, Attention: Janet Turner, P.O. Box 890, Buffalo, MO 65622.

 

Plad Cemetery

Memorial Day services will be held at Plad Cemetery on Sunday, May 26. There will be a basket dinner at 12:30 p.m., followed by a business meeting in the afternoon. Everyone is welcome.

For those who cannot attend, donations may be sent to O’Bannon Banking Co., P.O. Box 890, Buffalo, MO 65622, or Hildreth Swanigan, 761 Spruce St., Buffalo, MO 65622.

 

Wollard Cemetery

The annual meeting for Wollard Cemetery is scheduled for 9 a.m. May 27. Anyone interested in the cemetery is encouraged to attend.

Memorial donations and contributions for the mowing and upkeep are greatly appreciated.

For those who are unable to attend the meeting but who would like to contribute, checks can be made out to the Wollard Cemetery Fund and mailed to Bill Ray, 62 Mustang Drive, Buffalo, MO 65622.

 

Hopewell Cemetery

The annual meeting for Hopewell Cemetery of Tunas will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 27.

Donations for cemetery upkeep can be sent to Carol Barclay, 174 Simpson Road, Urbana, MO 65767.

 

Fraker Cemetery

Decoration Day for Fraker Cemetery will be May 27 with the meeting at 2 p.m. Everyone interested in the cemetery is encouraged to attend.

Donations for the upkeep of the cemetery are badly needed.

Contributions may be sent to Ray Taylor, 18 Rocksdale Road, Buffalo, MO 65622, or to the Fraker Cemetery Fund at O’Bannon Bank.

 

Antioch Cemetery

Antioch Cemetery of Pittsburg is seeking donations to help with the maintenance and upkeep of cemetery grounds.

The cemetery relies on community support, and all donations are greatly appreciated.

Donations may be sent to Antioch Cemetery Association, 27749 State Highway 64, Polk, MO 65727.

 

Benton Branch Cemetery

Memorial donations or contributions to the Benton Branch Cemetery fund, for mowing and upkeep of the cemetery grounds, are always appreciated and can be sent to Archie Ritch, 10196 State Hwy. 38, Elkland, MO 65644.

 

Reynolds Cemetery

Donations to help with the maintenance and mowing expenses of Reynolds Cemetery are greatly appreciated. Donations can be made out to Reynolds Cemetery Fund and mailed to Kristy Sharp, secretary and treasurer, at 1828 U.S. Hwy. 65, Buffalo, MO 65622. Donations also may be taken to or mailed to O’Bannon Bank, P.O. Box 890, Buffalo, MO 65622. Keep in mind this cemetery relies on donations to maintain its upkeep.
