The Denim and Dust 4-H Club met Friday, Nov. 6.

We welcomed new members: Charlie Pore, Bella and Madelyn Wommack, Ava Griffith and Madison Mankey.

Project reports were given next. The beef project report was given by Abby Gann, and the arts and crafts project report was given by Katie Dotson.

Members were reminded to fill out their 4-H enrollment online and pay dues.

The club Christmas party will be Dec. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at Calvary. A gift exchange will be held; each member should bring a $15 gift to exchange. The club voted and approved to purchase pizza.

We will participate in the Buffalo Christmas Parade on Dec. 12. A parade committee was formed to discuss some ideas for our float.

Katie Dotson, Abby Gann, Ellie Hall, Charlie Pore and Jordan Tucker make up the committee.

Upcoming Community Service Opportunities that have been planned include the following: making Christmas ornaments for Buffalo Prairie Nursing Home, the 4-H Food Drive and a diaper drive to benefit The Haven.

The meeting was adjourned and the planning committee chatted and we made Thanksgiving crafts.
