Crash near Tunas
A Lebanon man was injured Monday, April 5, in a two-vehicle crash southeast of Tunas, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Austin J. French, 20, of Lebanon was westbound on Mo. 64 eight miles southeast of Tunas at 2:45 p.m. April 5 when the 2005 Buick LeSabre he was driving stopped in the road to check on a disabled vehicle. A westbound 1993 Chevrolet S-10, driven by Robert G. Payne, 72, of Tunas, struck the Buick in the rear.
French suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.
Both Payne and French were wearing seat belts.
Crash near Phillipsburg
A Lebanon woman was injured Friday, April 2, in a one-vehicle crash east of Phillipsburg, according to the Highway Patrol.
Sharon J. Rossman, 34, was westbound on Route CC one mile east of Phillipsburg at 1:30 p.m. April 2 when the 2010 Pontiac G6 she was driving went off the right side of the road, went down an embankment and overturned.
Rossman suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital, Lebanon.
It is unknown if she was wearing a seat belt.
Crash near Long Lane
A Bolivar woman was injured Thursday, April 1, in a one-vehicle crash west of Long Lane, according to the Highway Patrol.
Brianna C. Marking, 26, of Springfield was westbound on Mo. 32 four and a half miles west of Long Lane at 9:55 p.m. April 1 when the 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 she was driving went off the right side of the road, struck an embankment, became airborne and struck a fence.
Marking’s passenger, Jenelie N. McDonald, 27, of Bolivar, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Citizens Memorial Hospital, Bolivar.
Both McDonald and Marking were wearing seat belts.
Louisburg woman injured
A Louisburg woman was injured Tuesday, March 30, in a three-vehicle crash in Lincoln County, according to the Highway Patrol.
Logan M. Hicks, 18, of Hawk Point was eastbound on Mo. 47 at Westborough Drive at 3:45 p.m. March 30 when the 2002 Ford Explorer he was driving stopped to wait for another vehicle to turn left. An eastbound 2015 Jeep Renegade, driven by a 17-year-old boy of Troy, struck the rear of the 2002 Ford. The 2002 Ford was pushed into an eastbound 2014 Ford Explorer, which also was stopped to wait for the other vehicle to turn left. The 2014 Ford was driven by Shelly C. Tinsley, 60, of Louisburg.
Tinsley suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital, Lake St. Louis.
Tinsley, Hicks and the juvenile, whose name was not released, all were wearing seat belts.
