The Buffalo Reflex reported extensively last week about how the Hickory County R-1 School District (Skyline) is considering a four-day school week. As it turns out, the Fair Grove School District is considering the same thing. Both districts have community meetings planned in the next eight days to explain the concept and also to get feedback from district residents.

Fair Grove will hold a four-day-school-week calendar planning session/community meeting tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 1) at 7 p.m. at the Middle/High School Library. The public is invited.

Skyline will hold an informational meeting a week later  -- on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. in the elementary school cafeteria to discuss the four-day school week.  Any interested community members are invited to attend and ask questions.
