Holding the championship trophy from the Reeds Spring cross country meet are, from left: Jacey Worley, Bailly Payne, Cheyann Kenady and Drew Van Nostrand.

Buffalo’s girls cross country team continued to be impressive, winning the Reeds Spring meet on Oct. 18. They accomplished this despite Reeds Spring switching girls and boys start times 12 minutes before the race.

Every Lady Bison set a new persona record or was within 10 seconds of doing so. Cheyann Kenady led the way with a seventh-place win and a time of 21:08. Other finishes included Sydney Abercrombie 8th, Bailly Payne 10th, Drew Van Nostrand 11th, Julia Horinek 15th and Jacey Worley 20th.

In the boys race, John Barrett medaled with a 26th-place performance.
