Justine Barb of Skyline won Mid-Lakes Conference girls cross country meet with a time of 21:06 minutes, a new personal record for her. Barb has medaled in all eight races this year so far. She won the Pleasant Hope meet and “has been rewriting the Skyline record books with every race,” according to Coach Gary Lile.
Breanna James also was an All-Conference runner with a time of 24:46, also a new personal record.
In the boys division, Zach McClurg set a new school record with a time of 18:26 and of course a new personal best. McClurg made All-Conference with his outstanding effort.
Other personal records were set that day, including by Sarah Clark, Axl Haney, Mason Hatfield, Hunter Nelson, Jordan Rowland (19:38) and Elyssa Converse.
Other times included Zane Kelley, 21:19 and James Miller, 24:38.
On Monday the Tigers and Lady Tigers competed at the Humansville meet, and again Barb won the varsity girls race and James finished seventh.
