Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, Maple Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pastor Tom Crain will officiate. Music is by Kera Newman. Military honors with be provided by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps League 993.

Ralph Eugene Cox, 82, was born Dec. 2, 1934, the son of Harry and Wilma (Sikes) Cox. He died Nov. 25, 2017, at Colonial Springs Healthcare Center, Buffalo, following a long illness.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, and after his service he was employed as a miller with Stafford’s Feed Mill for many years, and then with the city of Buffalo.

He was united in marriage to Edna Crain.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Edna; his son, Tery; and son-in-law, Glen Frey.

Survivors include his daughter, Debra and husband, Dan Kennel; three grandchildren: Aaron and Jayson Perkins and Brenna Cox; a great-granddaughter, Lluvy Cox; and a brother, Bill Cox.
