GRANT NOTICE

Solid Waste Management District “O” is now accepting applications for 2013 District Grant Projects designed to provide or enhance recycling and/or waste reduction services and programs.

Application packages must be received by the Solid Waste District O Administrative Office NO LATER than 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, 2012.

Projects eligible for funding MUST meet the following criteria:

1) Be located within the five-county region served by District “O”: Christian, Dallas, Greene, Polk and Webster.

2) Provide safe, reliable and cost effective [efficient/affordable] recycling and/or waste reduction services and/or programs.

3) Meet all other requirements from Solid Waste Management District “O” and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources Solid Waste Management Program as outlined in the 2013 application package.
