Fair Grove’s baseball team broke a four-game losing streak by defeating highly-touted Springfield Catholic 4-2 Thursday, April 13 in a road game. The Eagles rallied for three runs in the top of the seventh and held on for the victory. more

Monday, April 3 was a big day for track athletes in the Reflex’s readership area as they won 19 events at the Warsaw Invitational Track Meet and placed second in several others. The Skyline girls led the way with nine first-place finishes, and the Buffalo boys and girls combined for six wins. more
Skyline’s softball team will participate in the Sparta Trojans Softball Classic April 14-15. For Skyline, it replaces the Strafford Tournament that was canceled in the first week of the season because of cold weather. more

Fair Grove’s softball team was impressive in defeating previously unbeaten Skyline 7-0 in a road game Thursday. However, the following day the Lady Eagles suffered their own first loss in four games, falling to Ash Grove 13-10 at home. more
After defeating Springfield Catholic 9-6 in the opening round and being edged by Ava 3-1 in the semifinals, the Buffalo softball team beat Morrisville 8-3 to win third place in the Buffalo Tournament Saturday. The Lady Bison pounded 11 hits and played errorless ball on defense. more

Skyline’s Trent Pinon hurled a near-perfect game Thursday, leading the Tigers to a 4-0 win at Strafford in an important Mid-Lakes Conference contest.The senior pitcher struck out 13 batters and walked none, allowing just one hit by Cody Fisher in the fifth inning. In Addison, the Tigers were flawless in the field, committing no errors. more
