Services: 1 p.m. Nov. 19, Galmey Community Bible Church. Burial in Benton Branch Cemetery under the direction of Cantlon Otterness & Viets Funeral Home, Buffalo, Mo. Visitation: Noon to service time at the church.

Bro. Larry Graves officiated.

Glenda Joann Buntin, 78, was born Nov. 12, 1940, in Long Lane, Mo., the daughter of Clifford Laud and Ethel (Karr) Vest. She died Nov. 15, 2018, at Citizens Memorial Hospital, Bolivar, Mo.

She was reared and attended school in Long Lane and graduated from Buffalo High School.

In June 1958, she was united in marriage with Charles Dugan, and to this union five children were born, four of whom survive her. They made their home in Windyville and had many years together before Charles died Oct. 3, 1983.

She later met and married Johnny Buntin on April 4, 2004.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, working on her flowers, gardening, and feeding and watching the birds. She was a member of Community Bible Church in Galmey.

Glenda was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles; her parents; one son, David Dugan; one daughter, Debra Harris; one granddaughter, Ashley Smith; and one sister, Linda Webb.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny, of the home; four children: Debra and husband, Steve Williams, Springfield, Mo., Charles and wife, Rosa Dugan, Wichita, Kan., Cheryl Dugan, Blackburn, Mo., and Amy and husband, Russ Wisdom, Urbana, Mo.; four stepchildren: Michael and wife, Sandy Dye, Buffalo, Rickey and wife, Nancy Dye, Winchester Gap, Mo., Corrina and husband, Martin Austin, Buffalo, and Raymond and wife, Kathy Buntin, Long Lane; two brothers: Vernon and wife, Lucille Vest, Joplin, Mo., and Gleamon and wife, Betty Vest, Long Lane; 24 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and other family members and many friends who will all truly miss her.
