Dan Sheckler feels very much at home in Dallas County. He just fits in well with the friendly, super-nice people, and most people would think he has been a part of our community for longer than the seven years he has lived here. The man who was a farm boy growing up in Illinois, now has his own 40-acre farm southeast of Urbana, and living in the beautiful Ozarks (his words), just makes sense to him.
