Norman Joseph Bashore, 79, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 in Creve Coeur, Missouri. He was born January 5, 1942 in Eldon, Missouri the son of the late Harvey “Buck” and Willa Mae (Smith) Bashore.

On April 5, 1975 in Mary’s Home, Missouri he was united in marriage to Judy Kay (Mormann) Bashore who preceded him in death on May 10, 2006.

Survivors include,

Son, Nathan Bashore of Camdenton, MO

Mother in law, Evelyn Mormann of Eldon, MO

Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, in-laws and many friends.

A sister, Nellie Dunningham, a brother, Donald Bashore and his father in law, Fred Mormann preceded him in death.

Norman served in the United States Army as a Medic. He was employed with the Department of Corrections for many years, holding several different positions assisting inmates in the occupational field.

Norman was very active in the Osage Beach Rock and Mineral Club, the Camden County Historical Society, the Heartland Cruiser’s Club, the Macks Creek Senior Center and was instrumental in the creation of the Mary’s Home Credit Union in Mary’s Home, MO.

Per his wishes, his body has been cremated and he will be laid to rest next to his wife Judy at Our Lady of the Snows Cemetery in Mary’s Home, MO. Services will be planned at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
