Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

With our nation’s 250th anniversary year waning, Buffalo will salute the veterans who have served our country in the annual Veteran’s Day Parade 10 a.m., Saturday, November 7.

“Celebrating 250th” Parade organizers are arranging the final points for the event. Line-up will be at 8 a.m., with livestock at the Old City Park and others lining up at Superior Gearbox. Judging will be completed by 9:30, and at 10 a.m., the parade will leave the Old City Park and head down East Ramsey Street. At Maple Street, the parade will turn south toward the square.

The parade, including our own Buffalo High School Band, will go around the square, with a stop at the southwest corner for the Pledge of Allegiance and The Star-Spangled Banner, performed by Tyler Weeks, before heading back north up Maple and returning to the Old City Park. It is expected to last about an hour.

The Grand Marshalls are Craig Alderman, DAV; Larry Hicks, AMVETS; Duane Randa, American Legion; and Cindy Galvin, VFW.

Russ and Tyler Weeks will be the announcers.
