Flea Market on North Maple offers variety
Carpenter’s Maple Street Flea Market, located at 113 N. Maple Street in Buffalo, is full of a variety of items. It has been open for business since Sept. 9, 2022. The business is owned and operated by Steve and Teresa Carpenter. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.

Lady Bison get 19th victory, take 3rd at own tournament

It seems like the volleyball season has just started, but the Buffalo Lady Bison already have 19 wins, along with three losses and three ties.

Skyline senior Kadence Wallace captured first place in the Willard Highline Cross Country Invitational Meet on Thursday, Sept. 13, with a time of 21:05.17. There were 17 girls in the race.

Buffalo’s recent ability to stop two-point conversion plays was a major factor in the Bison’s 14-12 homecoming win over Skyline Friday night. In fact, the Bison defense has kept their opponents from being successful on two-pointers five straight times during the past two games.

Lady Bison defeat Skyline, also take second at tourney

Buffalo’s volleyball team traveled to Skyline Thursday, Sept. 7 and came home with a 3-1 win. The Lady Bison won 25-23, 20-25, 25-21, 25-20. They also placed second in the Forsyth Tournament on Saturday.

It took more than three hours to accomplish, but Buffalo’s football team outlasted El Dorado Springs 32-26 in three overtimes Friday night. In the process, the Bison picked up their first win of the season, and are now 1-0 in the Ozarks Highland Conference.

Fair Grove continued to win games easily as the Eagles crushed Skyline 68-0 Friday night after leading 56-0 at the half. It was Fair Grove’s third straight win of the season and Skyline’s third consecutive loss.
