Glen Leland Gamel, age 86, of Belton, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, October 26, 2019, in Concordia.

Memorial services will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 10, 2019, at Church of Christ, 4005 Main Street, Grandview, MO, 64030. Friends may sign the online register book at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Glen was born in Buffalo, Missouri, on October 17, 1933, to George and Susie (Southard) Gamel.

He was raised in Buffalo, MO, a Korean War veteran with the US Navy, moved to Kansas City, MO, owned Phillips 66 stations and Gamel's Machine Shop before retiring.

Survivors include his loving family, Arline Gamel of Kansas City; daughters, Snowda (Glenn) Woods of Lee’s Summit, Cindy (Mike) Preston of Lee’s Summit and Glena (Steve) Kellison of Belton; grandchildren, Gabriel (Rebecca) Woods, Raquel (Roger) Stark, Dustin Woods, Steve (Naomi) Preston, Dusty (William) Hawkins, Randal Kellison and Amanda Kellison; along with 15 great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; George and Susie (Southard) Gamel; daughter; Darla Atkins; sister, Elsie (Gamel) Foose; and grandson, Nick Preston.
