A tale or two - Remembering YMCA

I rarely feature Springfield history, but the writing on the back of a photo I inherited from my brother Jerry prompted me to share my memories. The people and places in the majority of his photos were identified, for which I'm very pleased. On the back of the one I'm sharing today said, "This is Sharon and Jerry, with the background of Murl's house. We are going to a formal dance at the YMCA. Jerry 14." Murl is our mother's younger brother, and Sharon is his daughter.
