At the November 13, 2023 Board of Aldermen meeting, Officer Chad Garner was sworn into the office of Buffalo police chief by City Clerk Talia Nelson. Garner recited a speech thanking the Board for the opportunity to serve the community, he grew up in and loves, as the city’s police chief.
