At the Hickory County R-1 (Skyline) School Board of Education’s regular monthly meeting Wednesday, Jan. 18, Kevin Cheek was hired as the high school principal for the 2023-24 school year in closed session. With the promotion of Jason Pursley to superintendent, the board had previously approved Julie Foster as the elementary principal and Jason Koele as the middle school principal for the 2023-24 school year.
