Two community organizations have teamed together to build a home for a deserving family in Buffalo. Dallas County Habitat for Humanity Affiliate has been building homes with partner families in Buffalo since 1995. In 2023 the Dallas County R-1 School District joined with them to help build the 2022-23 home; the construction technology class from the Dallas County Technical Center began helping Habitat.
