D. Rogene (Lemons) Buller

D. Rogene (Lemons) Buller was born November 23, 1923 in Windyville, Mo. She was the daughter of Walter and Verda (Williams) Lemons. She died on March 3, 2020 at the age of 96 in Wichita, Kansas.

She graduated from Windyville High School and moved to Wichita, where she married her first husband, Luther Hillin. To this union, one daughter, Jo Lynn, was born. Cancer took Luther’s life in 1967.

Rogene worked at Tweco Mfg. in Wichita for twenty-five years.

In 1971, she married Ernie Buller. They moved to Buffalo in 1998. They enjoyed traveling and visiting a number of states. Ernie passed away in 2007.

Rogene was also preceded in death by sisters Pansy Cope, Mary June Lolley, brother Martin Lemons and great-grandson Braeden Woodson.

She is survived by her daughter, Jo Lynn (Roger) Linnebur of Wichita, Kansas. Brothers Raphel (Cathy) Lemons of Clinton, Missouri, Russell (Betty) Lemons of Bolivar, Missouri. Grandson Chris Goodman of Atchison, Kansas, and granddaughters Kendra Woodson, Ashley Woodson, Rebecca (Cody) Steele, and several great-grandchildren, all of Wichita, Kansas.

Rogene attended Calvary Chapel Baptist Church in Buffalo.

A graveside service was held at the Lone Rock Cemetery on March 6, 2020.
