Dallas County Emergency Recovery heads to Northwest Arkansas

Posted 5/29/24

The Dallas County Emergency Recovery Unit has had a hectic year providing relief for four different tornadoes so far. We are gearing up for another operation this Thursday, Friday and Saturday. With numerous tornadoes in the past few days, we've reached out to various municipalities from Arkansas to Iowa. The area most in need of our teams and equipment is Rogers, Arkansas, and its surrounding communities. Our team will depart early Thursday and return Saturday evening. Housing and meals have been arranged. We understand that volunteers have busy schedules, and participation for all three days is not mandatory. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their chainsaws. The need for assistance is critical, and we urge volunteers to join us. For more information, please call 417-733-4752 or 417-619-3000.
