Buffalo’s softball team pounded Ava 10-3 to capture third place in the Buffalo Softball Tournament Saturday. The third-seeded Lady Bison easily defeated Hollister 12-0 in the opening round. A two-run homer by a Warsaw player gave the Lady Wildcats a 3-2 victory over Buffalo in the semifinals. The blast was the only thing keeping the Lady Bison out of the championship game.
