Mildred Farrellene (Dobson) Turner, 78, was born on Jan. 31, 1937, in White Cloud, the daughter of John Farrell and Mildred Phyllis Dobson. She died May 19, 2015.

She was saved and baptized at an early age.

She was united in marriage to John Henry Turner on Oct. 15, 1954.

She worked hard all of her life to help support her family. She was employed at Bendix in Kansas City for several years. She retired from Modine in Camdenton, while continuing to work at the Urbana Post Office as a mail carrier until 1999.

She also spent countless hours working on the family farm. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and caring for her flowers. She was a wonderful wife, mom and grandma.

Farrellene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years and 11 months, John Henry; a brother, Kenneth Dobson; and two sisters: Dortha Rogus and Arminta Driskill.

Survivors include her three children: Randy Lee, Mary Phyllis and Lisa Kaye; two brothers: Charles and wife, Barbara Dobson, and John and wife, Jackie Dobson; one sister, Jane and husband, Lloyd Buckner; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren, with one arriving soon. She will be dearly missed by her family.
