Paula Kay (Slack) Killian, 60, was born Dec. 21, 1955, in Buffalo, the daughter of Paul Ray and Alice May (Glass) Slack. She died July 10, 2016, at her home following a short battle with cancer.

She graduated from Buffalo High School in 1973.

She was united in marriage with Stanley Killian on April 14, 1989.

She worked as a pattern maker for Key Industries for 19 years before becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed piecing quilt blocks, cross stitch, embroidery, crochet, quilting, gardening, canning and baking. Her salsa was a family favorite, and her grandsons loved when Mema made cinnamon rolls.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Stanley Killian; her daughter, Regina and husband, Duane Potter; two grandsons: Colton and Paden Rader; her brothers, Gary and wife, Wilma Slack, Larry and wife, Donna Slack, Jerry and wife, Lisa Slack, Terry and wife, Jenny Slack, and Barry Slack; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends who loved her dearly.
