Vehicle totaled after striking a deer

At 9:42 a.m., on June 2, 2024, Jennifer S. Murray, 65, Holt Summit, was headed northbound on Hwy. 65, 5 miles north of Fair Grove, while driving a 2008 Honda Gold Wing, when the vehicle struck a deer in the roadway. The impact totaled the vehicle and it was towed. Murray suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Cox South in Springfield. It is unknown if the driver was wearing a safety device.
