Buffalo’s boys basketball team ripped Sherwood 52-35 Friday in a conference game in front of a courtwarming crowd. The Bison trailed 8-6 at the quarter, but led 22-16 at the half. Their big quarter was the fourth when they outscored the visitors 16-3. more

Lyla Louderbaugh, Buffalo, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play women’s golf at the University of Kansas, KU head coach Lindsay Kuhle recently announced. Louderbaugh will be a freshman for the Jayhawks in 2022-23. more
Fair Grove’s girls basketball team has allowed a total of just 21 points in its last two games, as the second-seeded Lady Eagles whacked seventh-seeded Warsaw 70-13 in the opening round of the Skyline Tournament Friday. They were scheduled to play third-seeded Leeton last night (Tuesday) in the semifinals. If they won, they will play in the championship game Friday at 8:30 p.m., and if they lost they will play for third place at 6:30 p.m. more
Buffalo boys were unable to overcome a 20-point halftime deficit Monday night, so eventually lost a home conference game to Butler 56-42. The Bison played hard to get back into the game, but never got closer than 11 points in the second half. more
Spurred by a loud and active courtwarming crowd, Skyline’s boys basketball team achieved its first victory of the season Friday night with a 62-57 win over Laquey. The Tigers trailed only once in the contest, but had to hold on for a five-point win after leading by 15 with seven minutes left in the game. more
Kenzi Cheek scored 19 points and Ashlen Garrett had 10 to lead top-seeded Skyline girls over eighth-seeded Climax Springs 69-9 Saturday afternoon in the opening round of the Skyline Tournament. The Lady Tigers, 10-3, were scheduled to play in the semifinals last night (Tuesday). If they won, they will play in the championship game Friday at 8 p.m., and if they lost, they will play for third place Friday at 6:30 p.m. more

Buffalo’s girls basketball team basically led all the way in a home conference game against Butler Monday night, and the Lady Bison were in front 23-14 at the half. However, they quickly took care of business in the second half by starting the third quarter with a 10-0 run. This put the home team in fro t 33-14 and virtually sealed Buffalo’s second win of the season. more
