The Dallas County Health Department responded Monday, June 6, to a tractor trailer crash in Dallas County. The Health Department was called in because it is responsible for responding to emergencies involving food, cosmetics or drugs, according to the Health Department’s Facebook post. This tractor trailer crash involved 28 pallets with 900 dozen eggs per pallet — more than 300,000 organic raw eggs in total. See crash reports on Page 5A.

Dragons Den Dojo attended the Arkansas Showdown Tournament on Saturday, March 26, at Russellville High School, Russellville, Ark. This tournament was sponsored by Charles Garrett. Eight Dragons Den Dojo students competed in the tournament and brought home two first-place medals, six second-place medals and three third-place medals for a total of 11 medals. Jacob Arnold and Reece Garner each took one first-place medal and competed in the Grand Championships. Eric Sanders took home three second-place medals.
