Former Dallas County band instructor and music teacher Bryan Elhard was honored with a plaque onstage at the Buffalo graduation ceremony Friday, May 13. Elhard was elected the 27th inductee into the Dallas County Schools Hall of Fame. He first began teaching at Buffalo in 1965. The honor recognizes outstanding alumni, former staff and exceptional supporters of the Dallas County R-1 School District. The official Hall of Fame is in the lobby of the Shewmaker Performing Arts Center, where special plaques of all inductees are displayed.
