We want to take a moment here and really Thank Holy Spirit and ALL the people involved in bringing this full circle and getting us on the other side of this situation! Holy moly what a ride! Lol First, thank you to Darren Cheek for doing an extensive investigation, having dedication and great communication, to Aaron Boland for being a true friend, a true servant for the community, and filling in the gaps, to Talon Farrar for getting the arrest and a full confession from the shooter, To Chief Chad Garner for overseeing the case and staying focused on it and being the Best Chief, this town has seen!!! Thanks to Duane Hamilton for reopening the case. Thank you to Chris Clarke for getting the statement that brought this case back to life. A BIG Thank you to All the friends, family, witnesses, and neighbors of this community that came together and helped shine the light and gave such support to keep advocating for what is right!!! This is such a safer environment now because of it. This whole situation has brought a lot of great people together that never would have met if it hadn't have happened. We prayed for over a year for God to use us to make this world a better place. It was a lot to deal with and grow from but we are so glad to be where we are now and we look forward to future projects of shining the light with the community. Be careful what you pray for! Steve Johnson has been a friend to me since our school days. We became close in art class, where he truly shines. Creativity is Steve’s most vital attribute. He can create artwork, sculpt, create advertising campaigns, feature stories, and do professional photography. He can also cook and know his way around a toolbox. I think he can do anything. more
