The Long Lane Lions Club’s Second Annual Show was held on May 11, 2024, at the Long Lane Lions Club. A total of 106 head of cattle were exhibited at the show, representing more than a dozen breeds. Kansas native, Brian Anderson, sorted the classes. more

The time has come to wish well a special mentor as he embarks on a different way of life. Paul Campbell, someone who I have much respect for, is finally going to take a break from diligently working hard to bring you the best in local sports coverage weekly in the Buffalo Reflex. There’s an old saying, “All good things must come to an end,” and without Paul covering the Bison’s, Tigers’ and Eagles’ sports events, there will no doubt be a change. In my opinion, it will be hard to find someone that can come close to a Paul Campbell narration of a ballgame or sports competition. But hey, let’s be fair, everyone has their own style, and hopefully the right person will step forward to pick up the mantle. more
