Preliminary data from the Missouri Department of Conservation shows turkey hunters checked 41,970 birds during Missouri’s 2023 regular spring turkey season, April 17 through May 7. Top regular-season harvest counties were Franklin with 973 birds harvested, Callaway with 801 and Osage with 792. Dallas had 492 birds harvested — 395 adult gobblers, 95 juvenile gobblers and two bearded hens. more

DIVAS’ April meeting welcomed Wesley Tucker, field specialist in agricultural business from Polk County University of Missouri Extension. Why would the DIVAS have an ag business professional speak? He changed his hat for the morning and taught a human resources course. He presented a program based on Swiss psychologist Carl Jung’s color theory, looking at the four different personality types humans fall under. more
